Blaney Point Oysters are Farm raised in the cold waters of Casco Bay Maine where the Haraseeket and Royal Rivers meet the ocean. These nutrient-rich waters are constantly moving with aggressive tide and current changes. In this environment the Blaney Point's grow quickly to plump market size and deliver a distinct briny bite with a rich finish.
The oysters are grown by local fishermen and farmers Todd and Merridith Molloy. Their business is MollOyster Aquafarm. We like to say..." Blaney Points are the bottle, and MollOyster Aquafarm is the vineyard.
We raise two strains of oysters. Diploids tend to offer a briny taste of the ocean. Our Triploids often start with that briny bite and finish with a richness one needs to experience.
MollOyster Aquafarm is a registered stop on the Maine Oyster Trail. MollOyster tours depart out of Harraseeket Harbor in Freeport, Maine.

We like to think the Josey Wales is comfortable. The waters of Casco Bay are relatively sheltered and calm, although wind and weather can creep up so best to bring and extra layer and sunscreen. there is seating for up to six passengers and and expansive deck. Bags and belongings can be stowed under cover in the cabin.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
